Description

Led by award-winning Estonian prose writer, poet and literary translator Kai Aareleid, this workshop will explore the conceptual challenges of writing and presenting contemporary history in a credible way: choosing a setting, building characters, creating atmosphere and overcoming the traps of language and detail.

With advice and tips from Kai as a translator, editor and publisher, this workshop will help you find your voice, structure your work and use your historical research most effectively.

Supported by the British Council.
