Description

Led by award winning author Andrew Michael Hurley, this workshop will introduce and guide you through the art of writing thrilling and spine-tingling stories. Explore how to develop chilling characters, create realistic conflict and tension, and find the trepidation within the most mundane aspects of the everyday.

Andrew Michael Hurley won the Costa First Novel Award with his atmospheric evocation of horror in The Loney. His second novel Devil's Day is a masterful tale of the lengths a community will go to hang onto the old rituals and stories that hold them together, in a modern world where we need monsters and devils in order to measure our own goodness.

“Andrew Michael Hurley is adept at making his readers' spines tingle” The Times, Books of the Year
