The REP Archive Talks
The REP has been creating world class theatre from scratch for over 100 years. You now have the unique chance to hear more about its fascinating history. As part of our centenary celebration of the theatre, a dedicated and knowledgeable team of volunteers digitised over 3000 items of The REP's extensive archive and continue to bring it to life through talks.
We also deliver our Archive Talks to a variety of groups in Birmingham such as Women's Institute groups, U3A groups and Rotary Clubs. We charge a fee of £40 to cover expenses and as a registered charity welcome donations to be made at the event to go towards sustaining The REP for future generations. So if your club is looking to book in speakers of special interest and you would like learn more about the fascinating history of The REP then email rachel.cranny@birmingham-rep.co.uk or call 0121 245 2163 for more information or to book
