“How exactly does one kill a social media figure/entrepreneur, or as I like to term her: a con artist-cum-provocateur?”

Holed up in her bedroom, Cleo's aired twenty-two Whatsapps from Kara and has cut off contact with the rest of the world. It doesn't mean she's been silent though – she's got a lot to say. On the internet, actions don't always speak louder than words…

“Look it's two tweets that helped me vent my frustrations. It's really not that deep…”

seven methods of killing kylie jenner explores cultural appropriation, queerness, friendship between womxn and the ownership of black bodies both online and in real life.

seven methods of killing kylie jenner has been nominated in this year's Olivier awards.

Jasmine Lee-Jones has won multiple awards for her debut play including the Evening Standard and Critics' Circle Most Promising Playwright Awards, and the Alfred Fagon Award. She was originally developed as a writer through the Royal Court Theatre's Young Court programme as part of their commitment to nurturing new voices. The REP's previous Assistant Resident Director, Milli Bhatia directs this 'exhilarating show' (The Sunday Times.)

seven methods of killing kylie jenner is part of the Royal Court's Jerwood New Playwrights programme, supported by Jerwood Arts.

Reviews

Such an exhilarating show.

The Sunday Times

It’s perfectly performed by Tia Bannon and Danielle Vitalis, who, just like Lee-Jones, have talent to burn.

The Daily Telegraph

Milli Bhatia’s fierce production is striking, bewildering, haunting.”

The Observer

Jasmine Lee-Jones’s debut play is dazzlingly original, searingly articulate and savagely funny.
