Description

Students from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Newman University, University of Worcester, Hereford College of Arts and University of Wolverhampton join together to present an evening of pieces created by each of their dance and drama cohorts.

Club Paradise

Written and devised by Shenanigans Theatre Company, Club Paradise is a collage of curious cabaret acts. The performance addresses socio-political themes, such as political propaganda in Nazi Germany, using the dark gallows humour of 1920s' Berlin Cabaret.

By Second Year Applied Theatre Students at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire

Suzie, the new girl is faced with the struggles of dealing with a scary big new school, making new friends and finding her place. But when she arrives it isn't what she thought; a mean bully, scary dinner ladies and rude teachers make Suzie feel scared and out of place, until she meets Gloria - one of the dinner ladies in the school who takes her on a learning journey.

Eenie-Meanie is aimed at KS2 pupils and was devised by the cast for a tour of Birmingham Primary Schools, directed by Finley-Rose Townsend as part of the RBC partnership with The REP.

Parallel Minds

In a run-down police station what appear to be five suspects in a double murder case are being interviewed but we quickly shift into a darker and more disturbing duel between the investigators and the personalities in the interview room.  

The play was written by Katie Wilmott-Andrews during the module How Plays Work on the BA Dance and Drama degree at University of Wolverhampton.

Le Loup

Le Loup, the student dance company at University of Wolverhampton are performing a piece based on ACE Dance and Music's repertoire. This piece was set for them by University of Wolverhampton's BA (Hons) Dance programme alumna Iona Waite who is Senior Company Dancer and Education Officer at ACE Dance and Music.

Please note there is a transaction fee of £2.50 on all payment types. This covers administration costs and postage and enables us to provide a dedicated booking service. This charge does not apply to transactions under £10, group bookings over 50 and school group bookings. We also waive this charge if you are a REP Friend.
