Foundry Festival: Invisible Lines
Invisible Lines takes Indian dance as a springboard to create a visually arresting work that follows the lives of Li Ming, a single mother from Hong Kong, Theo Jones, a British black man in search of his biological father and Amrit Singh who is under the spell of his overbearing mother - all of whom work as doctors at a genetics lab.
Weaving our way through their human experiences this unusual, highly physical, humorous and thought-provoking work examines and explores the invisible divides and connections between races, languages and cultural expectations.
