Spring And Summer Season 2012 On Sale!
We’ve just announced our programme of work for Spring and Summer 2012 and tickets are on sale now.
As The REP marks its second year off-site we are continuing to perform at other venues across the city including mac, The Old Rep Theatre, A E Harris, Symphony Hall and Birmingham Library Theatre.
The company has continued to produce, discover and nurture new writing whilst its building is closed for redevelopment as part of the Library of Birmingham. This season alone features five world premieres – Gravity by Arzhang Pezhman and Mustafa by Naylah Ahmed both performed at mac, Forests at The Old Rep as part of the World Shakespeare Festival, a Young REP production of Kidnapping Cameron and the stunning Hip Hope Hero – a show for families combining dance, poetry, animation, original music and puppets.
Take a look at our What’s On section to find out more about the shows that are on offer this season, which also include a production of Samuel Beckett’s masterpiece Waiting For Godot at The Old Rep, a quirky co-production with the Birmingham-based Stan’s Cafe of The Just Price of Flowers at A E Harris Building and much much more.
