Casting Announced For Notes To Future Self
Casting for the forthcoming production Notes To Future Self has just been announced. The world premiere of Lucy Caldwell’s captivating and heartfelt story will be led by Imogen Doel who makes her Birmingham Repertory Theatre debut at Sophie. She will be joined by Amanda Ryan who plays Judy. Ryan previously appeared in The REP’s production of Wuthering Heights in 2008. Having trained at RADA, Ryan’s credits include Shameless (Channel 4), Patrick Marber’s Closer (National Theatre Tour) and Shekhar Kapur’s film Elizabeth.
Jayne Wisener will play Sophie’s sister Calliope. Wisener’s recent theatre credits include Parade (Donmar Warehouse) and The Secret Garden (West Yorkshire Playhouse), she is also well known for her role as Johanna in the 2007 film Sweeney Todd alongside Johnny Depp. Completing the quartet will be Jane Lowe, as Daphne, who has appeared in the hit British drama series, Bad Girls and her recent theatre credits include Hedda Gabler (West Yorkshire Playhouse) and True West (Bristol Old Vic)
Notes To Future Self opens for previews at mac on March 3 and runs until March 12 before touring the region and the UK as part of The Sir Barry Jackson Community Tour.
