The REP at Artsfest 2009

The REP at Artsfest 2009

There’ll be plenty of opportunities to catch special REP events over Artsfest weekend, but we wanted to draw your attention to two of our events in particular:

Do you know anyone called Carol?
Where? Main Stage in Centenary Square
Time 3pm

Join us as we put out a call across Birmingham to recruit a choir of people called Carol, to lead us in singing Christmas Carols on the Main Stage during Artsfest – great ticket prizes to be won!

East Is East excerpt
Where? Bailey’s Fish & Chip Bar, Stephenson Street (outside The Pallasades, behind Waterstones)
Time 12 noon and 1pm

Having premiered at The REP in the nineties before going on to become a BAFTA award-winning film, East Is East returns home to Birmingham. Meet the Khan family and hear part of their hilarious story – come and see an excerpt from the show at Bailey’s fish and chip shop.

We hope you’ll join us for these events – or come along to our Snowman craft workshops in City Centre gardens, see stars of Cabaret on the Main Stage in Centenary Square, and come and say hello at our Ask-It stall on New Street, where you can even have your photograph taken with our life-sized Snowman!

See you there.
