Have you ever wanted to step through the wardrobe and enter the magical world of Narnia?
Here is your chance as we hold open auditions for extras in our Christmas show.
We are looking for 12 men and women aged 18+ to be extras in the production. The search is on for dancers and physical theatre performers, possibly with circus or acrobatic skills. This is your chance to shine in front of top director Ian Brown and dance expert, Choreographer Ann Yee.
To audition, candidates should contact either Alison Solomon or Ruth Morgan at The REP on 0121 245 2000 in advance. Audtions will be held at the theatre on Tue 21 October from 6pm.
Alison Solomon, Casting Co-ordinator at The REP says:
“We are thrilled to have members of the community involved in our Christmas production of The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe. Community involvement in our shows has always been incredibly successful. We encourage anyone who thinks they fit the bill to apply and very much look forward to seeing you on audition day.”
The show offers a unique chance to star alongside a professional cast in a show that has sold over 34,000 tickets already. We are only looking for committed and enthusiastic individuals: it will be a large commitment throughout Christmas and New Year with rehearsals starting on 27 October and the show running until 17 January 2009.
